Meet some of our leading experts in Business Applications:
Amanda has over 21 years’ experience of working with standard and bespoke applications on many projects. She is also responsible for the delivery of Train The Trainer training and the assessment of QA’s IT trainers. As a MOS Master Instructor and MCT, Amanda is also a lead trainer on many projects, as well as authoring and delivering the 4-day Train The Trainer and Assessment (QATPMA) course.
Chris is an MCT, MOS Master and PGCE qualified trainer. He joined QA in 2007 and is now a Senior Business Applications Consultant with a specialism in SharePoint Site Collection Administration and Information Architecture. He works mainly on large-scale projects, designing and implementing organisation-wide training programmes for SharePoint via blended classroom and eLearning approaches. He also provides desk-side support, floorwalking and consultancy in tailoring SharePoint’s main features.
Dragoslav’s computer training career started in 1985 with development and delivery of courses on Lotus 1-2-3 and AutoCAD. As one of the trainers with the largest set of skills in the field of desktop training at QA, he has worked with numerous companies providing training, formulating client requirements, doing training needs analysis, designing course content and structure, developing courseware and workshops, floorwalking and post-rollout evaluation. His professional qualification includes a Master’s degree in Computer Application and Management Science. Dragoslav is a Prince2 Practitioner and Microsoft Certified Trainer and he has MOS and MCAS certificates for Microsoft Office.
Esther is a MOS 2010 Specialist Master and is an associate member of the CIPD in Training Practice. Based at QA’s Glasgow office, she delivers Microsoft Office courses at both QA centres and client’s sites. She is the principal SharePoint 2007 and 2010 End User trainer in Scotland. She has delivered bespoke client software and internal QA software courses. She has also been involved in many large projects as a lead trainer attending client meetings before/after tenders to discuss all aspects of the training process from client requirements, training needs analysis, designing of course content, structure, bespoke courseware, delivery, floorwalking, presentations, workshops and follow-up training if and when required.

Jane joined QA in 1998, training Microsoft Office and specialising in graphics and web design. Jane is a MOS Master Office 97-2010, MCT and Prince2 Practitioner. As Head of Business Applications, she leads a team of over 40 trainers and is responsible for developing and directing QA’s end user applications training. Working to develop new courses and course materials, she is a key contact for engaging in complex bespoke programmes. Jane also works with QA’s trainers to develop and assess delivery skills.
Janice is Microsoft qualified, holding MCT, MCAS and MOS Master instructor qualifications. Her extensive experience covers all aspects from gathering clients’ requirements, through to creating and delivering bespoke courseware at QA or on customer sites. She has held training and management roles within the company for almost two decades since she first developed her I.T. skills within Lothian Health Board and various other medium sized training organisations. She covers all the Microsoft products and specialises in VBA training in Excel and Access.
John has worked in IT training for 23 years, 14 of which have been with QA. Besides his main role as an IT training consultant, covering a wide range of business applications including Microsoft Office, John has a great deal of “in the field” experience in solutions development including programming, database and SharePoint administration. John’s role as Principal Technologist enables him to develop and deliver an extensive curriculum of SharePoint courses and training solutions.
Liz is a qualified MCT, MOS & MCAS Instructor with 15 years experience as a Business Applications Instructor. Previous roles as a PA and in Administration have been an extremely useful knowledge base for her role as a Business Applications Instructor. She has been heavily involved in large MS Office & Bespoke Software rollouts with major organisations using a mix of Virtual & Classroom training delivery.
Marion has a degree in computing and a post graduate certificate in education (computing). Before graduating, she spent a one year industrial placement with IBM as a trainee analyst/programmer. Marion joined QA in February 1998 from Stakis Plc. where she worked as a trainer. She joined the company in the role of lead trainer for IBM’s client managed training service. Marion has a long history in computing and teaching which makes her an ideal candidate for the position of Senior Business Applications Consultant at QA.

Mark is an MCT and an MOS Master instructor based in the North-West, and has been involved in IT training for over 14 years. Having joined QA in 2006 working as a Business Applications Trainer he has now moved in to the role of Deputy Head of Business Applications with particular emphasis on assisting the team whist retaining a day to day training/consultant role. He has worked on many large projects as a lead trainer and is regularly involved in Business Applications bids/tenders and meetings.
Martin has been an Applications trainer for over 10 years, just over 5 years with QA, Interquad, and 5 years with a previous company. He has taken the Microsoft MOS Exams in all versions from Office 2000 to 2010 and also delivers training for OneNote, Visio and the MS Project Applications in 2003, 2007 and 2010. Other qualifications include PRINCE2 Foundation. Before being an Applications trainer he worked in Change Management.
Murry joined QA in 2007 and has delivered courses in Microsoft Office, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Crystal Reports. His background prior to joining QA includes projects in development of software solutions (Access & Excel) and also significant experience in commerce and business management gained with major logistics multinationals. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and a Member of the Institution of Analysts & Programmers (MIAP).

Nadia has over 20 years’ experience of using and teaching Microsoft Office and bespoke business applications. She is passionate about virtual learning and in her role as Lead Trainer for the Business Applications Virtual Classroom, she combines her skills as an MCT and qualified E-learning and E-tutoring Skills Facilitator to develop and deliver the virtual classroom curriculum. Nadia is also a Prince2 Practitioner, regularly involved in training projects, as well as providing sales and bids support.
Richard has 20 years’ experience with business applications gained in a wide variety of sectors. He is responsible for the evaluation of new technologies and course development, acting as a subject matter expert to support bids and sales. A MOS Master Instructor, MCT and Prince2 Practitioner, he is the lead on Microsoft’s Office 365 cloud solution. Richard was involved in the beta programme for Office 2010 which led to QA being the first to market with 2010 migration and new features courses.

Richard has 20 years of experience as a desktop applications trainer, working for some of the leading IT training companies in the UK. A Microsoft Certified Trainer, Application Specialist, Office Master Instructor and an Adobe Certified Expert, Richard specialises in training the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products. Richard is also the lead on the Adobe Creative Suite for QA’s Business Applications team, and is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
Based at the Leeds office, Robert primarily delivers Microsoft courses from Introductory to Advanced level, at both QA centres and client sites. During his 12 years in the IT Training industry he has delivered training to delegates from different sectors of business including, local Government, Banking, Retail, Utilities, and Engineering) in the UK, Europe and beyond.
Rupica is a MOS Master Instructor Office 97-2010, MCT, MCTS and Prince2 Practitioner. She is involved with all stages of training rollouts, including: scoping client requirements, training needs analysis, designing course content and structure, one-to-one and classroom delivery, workshop development, helpdesk support, delegate floorwalking and post-rollout evaluation. She is also responsible for the development, delivery and administration of Microsoft Office exams.
