30,000 project and programme managers say thank you

Over the last 24 months, a staggering 30,000+ project and programme managers have sat their PRINCE2® and MSP® exams with QA.
According to independent figures released by the APMG, QA is the largest global provider in PRINCE2® and MSP®, and also M_o_R®, P3O® and APMG-International's Change Management Foundation for the first six months of 2011.
Being the biggest does not always means being the best however, but QA is a company that can buck the trend and its average pass rate across all the exams is 87%, against a national average of 83%, and with 98.4% of delegates rating their experience Satisfied or Very Satisfied, it is not surprising more individuals and organisations choose QA for their training.
Jeff Barnes, Executive Director of Training, QA, explains "We have been working hard over the last two years to really improve the standard of our project and programme management courses, and this news from the APMG validates our efforts. The delegate experience in the classroom is at the heart of what we do and we have made some significant improvements, from delegate feedback, to both the PRINCE2 and MSP courses. Both now feature interactive case studies that really help you understand what project and programme management is all about, well beyond the scope of the exam. In PRINCE2 we use the interactive case study to help you understand the project approach, and in MSP we build on the project case study by including it in a programme, to give consistency across the courses. This really helps delegates who wish to develop their career from project management into programme management."
"The improvements haven't stopped there either. The course material that accompanies our PRINCE2 and MSP courses has been re-written to include a lot more exercises. We kept in mind that we wanted newly qualified project and programme managers to use the material for reference after they have passed their exams, helping them perform more effectively when they get back to work. "
Innovation is at the core of QA, and it is already working on a new qualification with the APMG which will be shortly released to market. This will bring in a whole new level of professionalism to PRINCE2 Practitioners, and will include skills beyond the method.
Further new project and programme management courses will also be released in the next few months, including Sustainable Project Management and a range of soft skills and behavioural courses specifically designed make you a more effective project or programme leader.
